I’ve thought of a third option that I’m going to go with. I really want to give my daughter the time to do this as she’s able. To be fair to her, she’s trying to finish 8th grade and has a number of big, end of school projects she’s finishing over the next couple weeks. I also don’t want to slow down efforts to build my own company. I am highly motivated and have good momentum and worry that if I stop, those will go away and it might be years before I find them again.
To accommodate both, I’m going to continue to work on the card game, but when I can’t progress further because I’m waiting for art, I will work on a second idea, the fitness service. Now normally I wouldn’t think this is a good idea; focusing on doing one thing really well would be better. I will have to split time and focus. I’m a believer that “multi-tasking” is just doing two things a little worse than if you did them one at a time. That being said, I think this is the best approach for my situation.
