The last month has been busy on all fronts.  The corporate job is consuming a lot of time…still too much time.  We had a major US holiday (and this is the one that I usually unplug for and enjoy time with family and friends), and I’ve been in a flurry of activity related to the startup that has filled my time.  In the last few weeks, I’ve finished up some of the admin stuff I pushed off in the past (getting federal tax ID, sorting bank accounts, updating addresses and phone numbers, etc.).  I’ve also been active in an entrepreneur group on Facebook that I’ve been lurking in for the past year.  As part of my resurgence and commitment to making this work, I realized that I need to do things differently and I needed to think less about them (one of my problems… I think too much about doing something then talk myself out of doing it).

I mentioned in my last post that I had joined this paid Facebook group.  I’ve spent a lot of time over the last few weeks going through old content while keeping up with the new.  It’s been a fair amount of work, and I’ve only scratched the surface, but it’s been really good so far and I’ve learned quite a bit. As far as the startup goes, I’ve been working through simplifying things down to something that is reasonable for me to get out in a short period of time.  I’m working on making sure I have the framework in place by the end of December so that I can focus more on generating high quality content that will allow me to start building an audience.
